KeraWeb®
Web Tecnology for the ceramic industry
KeraWeb® Service marks a turning point in terms of technology for the ceramic tile production process. Based on the now well-established KeraCromia® system, KeraWeb® will be available on the web to enable ceramic companies to face the shade variation issues in the unstable ceramic tile production process.
Keracromia® will be available on the web to simplify products management, without the constraints of costly investments or specialized staff, allowing ceramics companies to:
- Operate anywhere in the world. Play “in tone “ products, although variable production conditions
- Counter the variations in tone due to varied production conditions and measure their compliance
- Digitally record the chromatic parameters of each production process in order to reproduce faithfully and forever.
CREATE THE MASTER
Record the chromatic parameters of each production process in order to digitally signing the product and reproduce it faithfully over time
- Creation of the Digital Reference (Master) Product
- Guarantee the tone reproducibility over time and process evolution
- Assure the future reproduction with different printers, inks, sizes, glazes, kilns and factories
REPRODUCE
Counter the variations in tone due to varied production conditions and measure their compliance
- reproduce product faithfully over time
- Measuring the compliance of the tone
- Reduce long production time and disputes
- Save inks and square meters of test
WORK EVERY WHERE
Operate anywhere in the world. Play "in tone" products, although variable production conditions
- access and work from everywhere
- simplify products management thanks to outstanding operational simplicity
- reduce thecostly investments
KeraWeb® 3 steps workflow
Step 1
Create the Master of the product with the DiPS chart
Step 2
Create the Model of the destination printing process
Step 3
Convert the Master on the destination Model
KeraArt® - Main Benefits
KeraArt® was designed with the aim of reproducing a ceramic image in two phases:
- The first is the mathematical construction of the printing process model
- The second is the creation of a print preview (soft proofing) and printing tooling
Therefore, KeraArt® allows to:
- Find a real producible solution on each production process
- Create the optimum graphics for the destination process
- Automatically generate tone variants
- Print on paper the proof to check the conformity of the final product with the original one
- Ensure the reproducibility of a graphic on multiple different production processes
- Deliver images usable for catalogs
Let's view each characteristic and functionalities one by one.

COLORSCAN - Main Features
• Acquire charts for measuring and modeling a ceramic process
• Acquire originals that need to be reproduced
• Banding free scan mode
• Spectral image analysis
• Anti shining functionality by changing the photometric range
• Images captured using Color Scan are saved in two different formats:
• digital “ips” format, if the spectrum is needed, as for example for images of charts to be analyzed for various jobs like Model creation or Ceramic process evaluation
• ”Tiff-Lab-16 bit” format, if CIE lab is requested as for example for graphics images of original products
• Scanned documents are saved with capture parameters and other useful information such as Illuminant, Observer, Acquisition data and Scanner Mode of Operation.
